Magnesium gel or oil gives a smooth massage that feels good on tense, tired muscles, and it doubles as an exfoliating, skin-caring treatment. Wear gloves when you apply it, since the oil has a low pH and can irritate your hands with prolonged contact. Wipe the client's skin with a damp cloth afterwards to remove the salty residue.

Foot care

A foot bath with magnesium salt softens hardened skin and cuticles and freshens the feet. Follow with a foot massage using magnesium gel or oil, then rinse with clean water. A lower-leg massage with gel or oil is a lovely treatment to offer for tired legs.

Esthetician 

Magnesium oil is a mildly acidic solution with a pH of about 4.4. It can be used on face and body in a similar way to AHA acids such as glycolic and lactic acid. It exfoliates, leaves the skin smoother and helps it hold moisture. It can also be used as a spot treatment on blemishes.
